Flying Into Naples
Naples Airport, officially known as Naples International Airport (IATA: NAP), is located in Capodichino, just a few kilometres northeast of Naples city centre.
From the Airport to Naples city centre you can either get a taxi or bus. Taking a taxi is the most convenient way as it only takes 12 minutes and costs €16. The Alibus Shuttle takes 15 minutes and a one-way ticket costs €5.
Taking Cabs
Cabs are available outside the arrivals area at the airport.Only use licensed taxis and agree the fare before starting the journey.
Attention! In case you don’t agree the fare in advance, ask the driver where the meter is positioned and always keep an eye on it. Sometimes they turn it off when you are distracted and charge whatever they want.

Taking Trains
Always use the Official Italian Train Network website to check times and prices of train journeys: TRENITALIA
Tickets can be purchased online, at self-service ticket machines, or at the ticket counter at the train station. It is advisable to book in advance, especially during peak travel periods.
Unless purchased online, you will need to validate your ticket before boarding the train, using the yellow validation machines located on the platforms. Failure to validate your ticket may result in a fine.
