Why You Shouldn’t have Tables’ Numbers at your Reception

Putting numbers on tables at your reception is basically telling your guests (those who took the time to celebrate with you and  spent money for your lovely presents) who are the most or  least important.

The people sitting at table 1 will feel honoured; but what about the guests sitting at table 100? Can you see how they might feel?

Proper Wedding Etiquette (at least in Italy) suggests that you name your tables (instead of putting numbers) according to themes: you can choose flowers names, colours, or if you are marrying in Italy, let’s say in Rome, you can choose the names of monuments. In this way all guests will feel equally important as well as informed.

To Your Happiness!
